Hakan Safi, who lost the Fenerbahçe presidential race to Aziz Yıldırım, thanked the congress members in the message he published after the election.

Presidential elections in Fenerbahçe
Dear Congress Members, Great Fenerbahçe Family,
We completed our Extraordinary General Assembly with Elections in an atmosphere befitting our club’s deep-rooted democracy culture.
I respect the will of our congress members and hope that the election will be beneficial for our club and our community. I would like to wholeheartedly thank all our congress members who trusted us, supported us, shared their ideas and walked shoulder to shoulder throughout the election process.
In this process, we did not just carry out an election campaign; We shared our dreams, projects and beliefs about the future of Fenerbahçe. Every support we have received has shown that the vision we put forward has found a strong response in our community. We are also aware of the responsibility of the nearly 10 thousand games we have received.
Regardless of the outcome today, the only fact that does not change is that we are all devoted to the same coat of arms. Fenerbahçe’s success lies above people and positions. For this reason, we will continue to prioritize the interests of our club from now on.
I have always felt proud to be a member of this great community, and I will continue to do so. Because Fenerbahçe is a much greater value than the results.
