First Dutch success in Vuelta Femenina of 2026: Bredewold takes stage victory through generous gesture from teammate Kopecky, Van der Breggen crash

Mischa Bredewold won the fifth stage of the Vuelta Femenina on Thursday. In the sprint of a peloton thinned out by a crash, the Dutch rider from SD Worx-Protime was the strongest, ahead of her Belgian teammate and classification leader Lotte Kopecky. The Italian Letizia Paternoster finished third, just like on Wednesday.
