First country of the Big Five: Spain also refuses participation in Songfestival when Israel participates

Spain does not participate in the Eurovision Song Contest when Israel is allowed to participate “while the massacre in Gaza continues”. That is what the board of directors of the Spanish broadcaster RTVE decided on Tuesday. The decision does not come unexpectedly, after the Spanish Minister of Culture had previously expressed his doubts about Spanish participation.
