The fire broke out around 5.40 pm in the sauna in the back of the garden of a house in Gangeslaan. Because of the heat, the windows of the house fell.

The resident of the house has inhaled smoke and has been checked by employees of the ambulance service. Shortly after the outbreak of the fire, the fire brigade got the fire under control. A burning gas bottle is cooled in the ditch by firefighters, behind the house.

Carbon monoxide control

There were some solar panels on the roof of the shed. They are largely burned. Whether the burnt particles of the solar panels will become swirling in the area, it is not known.

The adjacent houses have been checked by the fire brigade for the presence of carbon monoxide. That all turns out to be in order and residents can return to their house.

How the fire started is not yet clear.
