The fire brigade was called out on Friday evening to a fire in a large container on the Huub van Doorneweg in Drunen. After a truck emptied the container, the fire brigade was able to extinguish the fire.
Because the incident was scaled up to a medium fire, two tankers from Drunen responded and the Waalwijk fire brigade provided sufficient extinguishing water with a water container. After the last fires had been extinguished, the teams returned to the barracks.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. Nothing is yet clear about any damage.
