A blazing fire broke out on Thursday evening in the roof of a farmhouse in Deurne. Around ten to ten the fire was under control and the signal fire was given. There were no injuries. The fire brigade has saved two chicks and four birds from the house.
A lot of smoke was released during the fire in the farm on Merlenseweg. The fire brigade scaled up to ‘big fire’. There were several fire -fighting vehicles and water cars from the fire brigade on the spot.
“Both at the front and at the rear were used water jets,” the fire brigade reported. It was not a thatched hood. No asbestos was found either.
