The fire brigade saved a horse from a ditch on the Matsloot this afternoon. The animal had ended up in the ditch due to unclear cause.
A firefighter in a wading suit went into the water to apply a strap to apply the animal. With united forces of the firefighters and the farmer, then it was possible to pull the horse out of the water after more than half an hour.
Despite the harmful swimming adventure, the horse remained unharmed.
