The fire brigade had to free a man from his car in Eindhoven on Tuesday evening. The motorist had collided with a van on the Leenderweg around Halfzeeven on the Leenderweg, after which his vehicle in the central reservation on his side came to a halt. The driver was trapped in his car.
The fire brigade was only able to get him from his annoying position after she had removed the tailgate and the bank from the car. The victim was taken to a hospital with an ambulance.
Four fire trucks and an ambulance came to the report of the accident. The police also came to take a closer look.
The Leenderweg, an important main road in Eindhoven-Zuid, was immediately closed in both directions after the collision between the A2 motorway and Floraplein. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
