Last night in Assen a fire broke out in a rubbish container. The fire brigade managed to extinguish the fire.
The container is in a parking lot on the Beilerstraat. The contents caught fire at around 3.15 am, possibly due to arson. Large flames were soon visible, but the fire service was able to prevent the fire from causing damage outside the container.
