The fire brigade in Emmen was pulled out four times tonight for outdoor fires in the Emmerhout district.
The first fire was near a playground on the Laan van de Marel, the two subsequent fires in a piece of forest along the Houtweg.
At 9.15 pm the fire brigade was once again called up for a fire on the Laan van het Kinholt. A piece of grass was on fire there. Local residents managed to extinguish that fire, the fire brigade still fiddled.
The police are investigating the cause of the fires.
