A fire broke out at a snack bar on Ceresstraat in Stadskanaal this afternoon. This concerns a blazing fire that threatened to spread to adjacent buildings. The fire brigade therefore scaled up to a very large fire. The fire brigade has now got the fire under control. The property can be considered lost.
The fire started just after 4 p.m. and the fire brigade soon decided to call in several fire engines and two aerial platforms. Adjacent buildings were kept wet to prevent the fire from spreading to other buildings.
