In a country where inflation erodes the salary month by month, saving, investing or even understanding the operation of a bank account is not an optional knowledge: it is an urgent need. However, most Argentines do not have a minimum formation to face these challenges. According to data from the Latin American Development Bank, only 28% of the adult population has an adequate level of financial education.
The consequences are in sight: over -indebtedness, informality, low banking, difficulty undertaking with sustenance and a strong dependence on improvised solutions to economic crises. The lack of tools not only limits individual opportunities, but also reproduces structural inequalities.
In recent years there were advances, such as the inclusion of financial content in high school or initiatives of public and private organizations. However, these actions remain isolated, little articulated and, often, ineffective to generate lasting changes. Financial education must be practical, close and adapted to the different realities of the country. It is not enough to explain what an interest rate is: you have to teach how to organize a family budget, how to compare financial products, how to detect scams and how to plan personal goals.
Promoting financial education not only implies teaching to manage money, but also empower people so that they can plan their future, avoid unnecessary risks and break with chronic indebtedness cycles. It is, in short, an inclusion policy with deep social impact.

From 2020 SRL financial identity we work to bring these contents closer and accessible, because we believe that empowers financial education. It is not about forming economists, but citizens capable of making decisions with autonomy and projecting a future with greater security.
Financial education is not a privilege: it is a right. Promoting it cannot remain an option. It is time to turn it into public policy, transverse content and in everyday practice. Only then will we build a more equitable, conscious and prepared society to face the challenges of the present and the future.
