Fika, Swedish for sitting together with coffee and cakes, wants to get people with about cancer, dementia or mental problems from their isolation. And especially help to get their lives back on track.
Every Bracke is an employee at the Fika House: “I have been working on psychosocial well-being for a while, also with young people. And I also came to Fika as a caregiver. We looked at the map and we thought we let go a bit wider. That is why we have also been going to walk in De Haan, in the Zeebos.”
Fika On Tour goes to the Oudenburg library every Monday afternoon. On Thursday afternoon they settle in the local service center of De Haan, every Wednesday afternoon in that of Bredene.
