On the fair at the Gildeplein in Rosmalen, a large fight broke out between two groups of young people on Tuesday evening. Two people were picked up.

The fight began outside the fairground, but later moved to the fair. The police arrived with several units to get the fighters’ bosses under control. For that, agents had to use their baton.

A bystander saw it happen from the terrace. “I saw blood on the ground and someone with an injury to his ear. Around seven o’clock the youngsters started challenging each other and fighting each other. After that, adults also got involved and a kind of cat and mouse game with the police arose. The young people drove around on thick bikes.”

Due to the fight, the fair is closed earlier. In recent weeks it has gotten out of hand at several fairs. In Liempde it also went wrong last week between two groups at the fair. Someone there was also mistreated.
