Harrie Lavreysen became Dutch sprint champion for the fifth time on Sunday evening. In the final the Luyksgestel native defeated Daan Kool.
It is Lavreysen’s second national title this weekend at the National Track Cycling Championships in Apeldoorn. On Saturday, the five-time Olympic champion was also the strongest on the keirin. It was his seventh Dutch title in that discipline.
