Considering the current security situation in Israel, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Europe has decided to suspend all competitions of Israeli teams under the umbrella of FIBA Europe.
Taking into account the current security situation in Israel and following the recommendations of its security advisors, FIBA Europe has decided to suspend all matches involving Israeli teams in all competitions under the umbrella of FIBA Europe until further notice. The decision will cover all home and away matches played by the five Israeli teams in the Women’s European Cup (EuroCup) and FIBA Europe Cup and will come into effect immediately. FIBA Europe will continue to monitor the situation, in close cooperation with the Israeli Basketball Federation and participating clubs, remaining committed to prioritizing the safety and well-being of all participants and stakeholders. It has been announced that dates and times for rescheduled fixtures will be confirmed as soon as the situation allows.
