A few days ago, the Ship 2B Foundation celebrated its tenth anniversary coinciding with its annual Impact Forum. This foundation created a decade ago by Maite Fibla, Xavi Pont and the current CEO, Clara Navarrowas one of the first promoters of the impact economy in Spain and has a board of trustees made up of some of the most important investors and businessmen in Barcelona such as Josep Santacreu, Lluís Seguí either Marcel Prunera….

In these ten years they have facilitated the acceleration of more than 200 startups, they have accompanied 30 large corporations in their transformation towards the impact economy and they have supported 80 social companies. They also have the most important investment fund in Spain in this particular ecosystem.

The inaugural dinner was attended by the president of the Ship2b Foundation, Ainhoa ​​Grandesthe director of the Banco de Sabadell Foundation, Sonia Mulero, Josep Pontby Borges, the director of the Juan Entrecanales de Azcárate Foundation, Ines Entrecanalesthe general director of BASF, Carles Navarrothe general director of GVC Gaesco, Carme Hortalà or the director of Sustainability Communication at Caixabank, Javier Tomé.

During the following days, interesting success stories were presented, such as that of the executive president of Adolfo Domínguez, Adriana Dominguez or that of the founder of Techô, Blanca Hernandez. Among the attendees there was no shortage, Josep Lluis Sant Feliu of Asabys Partners, the executive president of RocaJunyent, Joan Roca either Marta Angerri from Grup Ametller.

In short, the Impact Forum brought together more than 40 speakers from different sectors and 500 leaders from the business, financial, philanthropic and public sectors. All of them with the sole purpose of discussing impact economics, highlighting the vital role of leadership and collaboration in the transformation of the system.
