Central defender comes on a free transfer
Fenerbahce completed Alexander Djiku’s signing on Monday. The Süper Lig club confirmed the signature of the 28-year-old central defender until 2026, after which there is an option for another season. Djiku’s contract with RC Strasbourg Alsace expired this summer after four years and 127 games.
With the transfer of the French to Fenerbahce, something should also happen on the departure side of the Turkish cup winners. Attila Szalai, the second most valuable player in the squad with a market value of 14 million euros, is about to move to Union Berlin.
