Femke Bol decided shortly after the Paris Olympic Games that she would not do indoor competitions this winter. “I needed peace. Not necessarily physically, but also just mentally. I wanted to take a little more time for myself and the people around me ”, she explained her decision when presenting the athletics team for the European Indoor Ek at Sportcentrum Papendal.
