Feine Sahne Fischfilet announced a new album on Wednesday. “Alles Glänzt”, as it is called, was produced by Philipp “Philsen” Hoppen (Die Ärzte, Kraftklub and KIZ), is said to include twelve songs, will be released on May 12, 2023 and is therefore more than five years after its predecessor “Sturm & Dreck”. .

Since then, the punk rock band from Anklam in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has not only made headlines with their music and their activism against the right: in spring 2022 their singer Jan “Monchi” Gorkow published a book about his body weight with “Niemals satiated”. Shortly thereafter, anonymous allegations against him and his band were made. He in particular, according to a group called “No one has to be a perpetrator” on Instagram, has repeatedly been guilty of abuse of power, assault and sexual misconduct in the past. Gorkov paused his reading tour and resumed it in November. At the same time, his band announced an open-air tour in 2023 called “Komm mit aufs Boot” and explained that they were working on new music with a different line-up – members Christoph Sell and Jacobus North left the band in April, Hauke Segert came along for that. Already in the summer of 2022, Feine Sahne Fischfilet appeared in the opening act for Die Toten Hosen.
