Second division football club FC St. Pauli has strengthened with central defender David Nemeth.
The 21-year-old is moving from Bundesliga club FSV Mainz 05 to Hamburg. As is usually the case, the Hanseatic League has not given any information about the duration of the contract.
“We trust David to play an important role for us,” said coach Timo Schultz.
The Austrian was loaned to his home country Sturm Graz in the 2020/2021 season and made 32 appearances in competitive games there.
