Homegrown remains after promotion
1. FC Kaiserslautern has extended the expiring contract of home-grown player Anas Bakhat. The “Red Devils” did not provide any information about the new term. The 22-year-old midfielder missed almost the entire past season with a knee injury and a torn muscle fiber after his comeback and only played four games for the FCK reserves. Bakhat has made 26 appearances (one goal) for the Lauterer pros.
Hopefully a big high will follow a difficult year: After his injury break, Anas Bakhat is back on two healthy legs and storms onto them with the #FCK to the second division! pic.twitter.com/VHzwZwu9p9
