FC Schalke 04: The next star is probably looking for the distance

After FC Schalke 04’s relegation, Rodrigo Zalazar is unlikely to stay with the Royal Blues. Three interested parties are already putting out feelers for the Uruguayan.

As reported by “Sport Bild”, Zalazar wants to leave FC Schalke 04. Accordingly, it is “hard to imagine” for the attacking midfielder to play with the Knappen in the 2nd Bundesliga in the coming season.

According to the report, the first interested parties have already knocked on the door at Schalke. Zalazar is said to be on the list for Torino FC from Italy and for the Spanish club FC Villareal. In addition, Palmeiras Sao Paulo from Brazil have signaled interest.

Since a sale of Zalazar would probably flush a lot of money into the cash-strapped Schalke coffers, a sale is not out of the question, according to “Sport Bild”, which lists three to five million euros as a possible transfer fee.

The contract of the 23-year-old top performer at FC Schalke 04 runs until 2026. Since Zalazar’s working paper has no exit clause and is valid for both the first and second Bundesliga, his fee would be freely negotiable.

Exception: Bundesliga competitor Eintracht Frankfurt has a buyback option for Zalazar this year. However, the SGE will not pull this, it said in March in the “Sport Bild”.

Bülter before moving from FC Schalke 04 to TSG Hoffenheim?

In addition to Zalazar, Marius Bülter will probably also leave FC Schalke 04. According to information from “Sky”, “Bild” and “WAZ”, the district club has already set a price tag for the striker. Five million euros are due to free the 30-year-old from a contract dated until 2025.

The hottest lead recently led to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. According to “Sky”, the Kraichgauer are clearly ahead in poker for the 30-year-old. There are said to have already been intensive and advanced talks.
