FC Bayern reportedly upset because of Davies advisor

The contract talks between FC Bayern and Alphonso Davies are currently on hold. Finally, the left-back’s player agent spoke up. Some of these statements apparently led to dissatisfaction on Säbener Strasse.

According to “Sport Bild”, there was “plenty of irritation” among FC Bayern club bosses that Davies’ agent Nedal Huoseh was publicly flirting with Real Madrid.

The reason for this is the 22-year-old’s contract situation. Davies is only tied to FC Bayern until 2025. The Canadian’s long-term future is therefore unclear. As a result, there are always rumors of a change surrounding the Canadian. Real Madrid in particular is often mentioned as a possible buyer.

“There is interest from many teams. I’m sure that Real Madrid could be one of the clubs that would like to sign Davies,” Huoseh recently fueled the transfer speculation in an interview with “365Scores”. “Several clubs from the Premier League” would also be among the candidates. “We’ll see what happens,” added player agent.

FC Bayern or change? Everything is still open at Davies

FC Bayern would therefore have to work hard to tie Davies to the club in the long term. “Alphonso’s next step? He still has two years of contract with Bayern, but we’ll see what happens. I’m asked this question a lot, but that’s all I can say,” said Huoseh about his client’s sporting future.

Huoseh added: “He is a seasoned left-back and could be open to an extension with Bayern. But it also depends on the club.”

According to “90min”, in addition to Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea FC are also interested in Davies. The left-footed player moved to Munich from MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps in January 2019.
