FC Bayern: Nagelsmann and PSG are already that close

Julian Nagelsmann has been traded at Paris Saint-Germain for some time. The coach, who was released from Bayern Munich in March, could soon join PSG. The 35-year-old already has his fingers in the game with the French champions. Is everything going so fast now?

He canceled Chelsea FC, there was no agreement with Tottenham Hotspur, and apparently he is not going to SSC Napoli either, because Julian Nagelsmann seems to be aiming for the job at Paris Saint-Germain. The Ligue 1 club has been campaigning for FC Bayern’s full-time coach for a long time.

According to media reports, Nagelsmann is said to be one step ahead of club boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi, talks with the 35-year-old are ongoing and could soon come to a successful end.

As the French “L’Equipe” reports, Nagelsmann is not only in dialogue with those responsible for sport, but is also already in contact with PSG consultant Luis Campos.

The topics: The squad and possible newcomers. It is obvious that Nagelsmann can very well imagine a job with the French capital club.

However, there is still no final agreement. One of the reasons for this is that the current head coach, Christophe Galtier, is still officially in office. Recently, however, it was said in several media that the timely release of the 56-year-old Frenchman is only a matter of time.

In addition to the Galtier exemption, Paris Saint-Germain must also agree with FC Bayern on the transfer modalities. After all, Nagelsmann still has a valid contract with Munich until 2026.

After leaving FC Bayern: Nagelsmann will soon sign with PSG

It is not clear what amount PSG would have to put on the table for the desired coach. The Munich “TZ” recently reported an amount between eight and ten million euros.

“Sky”, on the other hand, writes that Bayern demand at least ten million euros, possibly even up to 15 million euros. This sum went to RB Leipzig’s account in the summer of 2021 to free Nagelsmann from the Red Bulls.

In addition to Nagelsmann, Thiago Motta is also an issue for the post of head coach at PSG. However, it is expected that Nagelsmann will sign the contract with PSG – according to “L’Equipe” information in the coming week.
