With the commitment of Michael Olise, FC Bayern managed a real hit last summer. Sports director Max Eberl gives the French wing racer a top certificate.

“He is simply the Bundesliga player for me,” Max Eberl is quoted from “Sky” after the season finale of FC Bayern with regard to Michael Olise.

The Munich sports director had signed the 23-year-old from Crystal Palace last summer. The transfer fee is said to have amounted to around 53 million euros.

Olise paid back FC Bayern with performance. This season, the left foot will get 17 goals in 50 competitive game operations for the German record champions. The Frenchman was recently voted “Rookie of the Season” in the Bundesliga by the DFL.

Bayern colleagues rave about Olise

“He is rewarded. When you see how early Michael is always there, how long he is prepared before training, how long he still works afterwards, stays out longer and does his things in the weight room, then in the end it is simply the reward for the hard work,” praised midfield engine Joshua Kimmich.

“You shouldn’t forget that he comes from a summer without a vacation, because he still took part in the Olympics. Then pulling through this at this level and almost not playing a bad game is exceptional,” added the 30-year-old.

Midfield colleague Aleksandar Pavlovic enthused: “It’s just fun with him. How he trains and plays is just outstanding.”

After just one season at FC Bayern, Olise is an integral part of the starting eleven. Good for the German champion: The dribble -strong offensive player is equipped with a long -term contract until 2029. Bayern fans can therefore look forward to further years with a transfer of the Olise transfer.
