Oliver Kahn reports back to FC Bayern after his release.

Almost three weeks after being kicked out at FC Bayern Munich, the former FCB CEO spoke again on his Instagram channel for the first time.

Kahn posts a photo of himself with sunglasses and espresso cups. In the attached text, the titan thanks him for the congratulations on his 54th birthday.

He writes: “Thank you for the many congratulations on my birthday! I was very happy to read all the positive messages.” The post ends with “#weiterimmerweiter” – one of the most famous Kahn sayings from his time as an active Bayern player.

Among the many well-wishers: Countless fans, but also celebrities, such as Boris Becker. “Dear Oli, only the best wishes on your day of honor!” Writes the tennis legend to the goalkeeper.

FC Bayern announces birthday

FC Bayern Munich also sent congratulations to its former keeper, captain and CEO. The club posted a montage of photos of the young Bayern goalkeeper Kahn and the mature FCB official on Twitter. The wish: “Happy 54th birthday, Oliver Kahn!”

Forgiving words from Bayern after the rather ugly separation from Kahn. Even before the season finale in Cologne, the supervisory board had decided to fire Kahn as CEO. He was therefore not allowed to travel to the game in the Rhineland and was also not allowed to take part in the championship celebration that followed. “That was the worst day of my life taking away from partying with the boys,” said Kahn.

Fired despite championship – the inscription on the espresso cup that Kahn is holding in his birthday post fits in with this. There is a saying that supposedly comes from the Chinese: “May You Live In Interesting Times”. In English: “May you live in interesting times.”
