FC Bayern increased its income by 90 million euros last year. According to the UEFA financial report, the Munich team earned 744 million euros in 2023 – 14 percent more than in 2022. In a comparison of Europe’s top clubs, Bayern are still in sixth place.

The new leader is Real Madrid with 841 million euros, Manchester City slips into second place with 836 million euros. Borussia Dortmund (423 million euros) is in twelfth place, RB Leipzig (354 million euros) is the third Bundesliga club in 16th place. The top 20 also consists of nine clubs from England, four from Italy, three from Spain and a club from France.
Bayern, who were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the 2022/23 Champions League season, received 110 million euros from UEFA alone. For BVB (74 million euros) and Leipzig (58 million euros) it had already ended one round earlier. “Premier league” winner Man City received the most (131 million euros).
FC Barcelona with the biggest increase in revenue – only three times minus
The biggest increase was recorded by FC Barcelona (+176 million euros), which moved up four places to third place. SSC Napoli increased by a whopping 77 percent to 277 million euros and jumped 23 places to 18th place. With Liverpool FC (-19 million euros), Atlético Madrid (-21 million euros) and West Ham United (- 26 million euros), only three of the 20 clubs recorded a loss.
