FC Bayern wins and Harry Kane continues to meet. In the only home game during the 190th Munich Oktoberfest, the twice the goal scorer and his teammates gave SV Werder Bremen a 4-0 (2: 0). At the start of the 5th match day of the Bundesliga, the leaders expanded his flawless start record to 15 points.
Man of the evening in front of the 75,000 fans in the sold -out Allianz Arena was once again the 32 -year -old Kane. Even if it didn’t look like it at first. During an attack campaign about Michael Olise, Jonathan Tah extended with his hoe. From the leg of Luis Díaz, the ball jumped a little happily to 1-0 into the net (22nd minute). Official DFL goal scorer: Tah.
Then Kane came: First the center forward also converted his 18th penalty in the Bundesliga ice cold (45.+1). Then, after fine preparatory work, Díaz put on Saison number ten (65th). In the 104th competitive game for Bayern it was the 100th goal of Kane. He wrote history in Europe’s top leagues: Erling Haaland (at Manchester City) and Cristiano Ronaldo (during his time at Real Madrid) each needed 105 games for 100 hits. Konrad Laimer (87th) set the final point against Bremen.

Who should stop Kane and Co. nationally? The brave Bremeners could not, even if Estonia’s national goalkeeper Karl Hein held in Werder goal at his Bundesliga debut. He parried twice against Kane, also a shot from Serge Gnabry, the 23-year-old kept Famos. “He can hold,” said Werder coach Horst Steffen before the kick-off at “Sky”.
Surprisingly, Joshua Kimmich was again missing in Bavaria’s starting eleven. Trainer Vincent Kompany explained this with a two-day training break of the DFB captain because of an illness. However, it was enough to substitute after an hour and so to a record: in the 300th Bundesliga game Kimmich celebrated the 218th victory.
Kimmich’s place in the midfield was allowed to take new signing Tom Bischof on the side of Leon Goretzka (also 300th league game). The 20-year-old did this very courageously. He demanded balls, he won balls. And he distributed it cleverly. Of course, the focus was on Kane. The Bundesliga goalkeeper kept king off with a mistake. The goalkeeper provoked the flattering penalty cleverly when Werder captain Marco Friedl attacked him in the penalty area. From the point he lost sovereign goalkeeper Hein.
Bremen’s field players were largely busy. Offensive moments were rare, as with a shot from Yukinari Sugawara, in which Manuel Neuer had to tear his arms up in goal (58.). Werder defended himself against a Munich star ensemble, which, unlike in the home games before, against RB Leipzig (6-0) and the HSV (5: 0), revealed some negligence with the goal yield. At the eighth victory in the eighth competitive game of the season, this did not change anything.
