FC Bayern are said to have targeted French midfield gem Ayyoub Bouaddi from OSC Lille.
The “Foot Mercato” portal reports on this. Accordingly, the German record champions, alongside international heavyweights such as Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC and Paris Saint-Germain, are interested in signing Bouaddi.
But that’s not all: Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Juventus Turin are also said to be watching the top talent. Bouaddi’s price tag is currently said to be 60 million euros, and the trend is rising.
And: According to the report, France’s national coach Didier Deschamps is promising Bouaddi a possible participation in the 2026 World Cup in Canada, the USA and Mexico. If the youngster actually jumps on the finals bandwagon, his market value would probably explode again.
Lille has already taken precautions: On Saturday, the Ligue 1 club announced the extension of Bouaddi’s contract until 2029.
“The extension of Ayyoub’s contract is a very emotional moment for us, as we have a strong bond with each other. First and foremost, it is a deep and special human connection,” said coach Olivier Létang.
Hymn of praise for FC Bayern’s alleged transfer target
Bouaddi is “an important player” in his team, emphasized Lille’s coach. “He has extraordinary potential and a maturity that is remarkable for his age. But that is not enough to become a great champion. It also requires hard work, determination, humility, mental strength and a certain spirit. And in these areas too, Ayyoub has all the qualities that convince me that he is and will continue to be a top footballer.”
Bouaddi enthused: “This club has given me so much and contributed so much to my development, with people I respect and who form a big family. Everyone has helped me a lot in my development and I hope it continues that way.”
