FC Augsburg: Test canceled due to pyrotechnics

The test of the Bundesliga soccer club FC Augsburg against Besiktas Istanbul was canceled after just 76 minutes in Kufstein, Austria.

When the score was 1-1 (0-1), the referee asked the two teams into the dressing room after the Turkish supporters had once again ignited pyrotechnics and shot firecrackers onto the pitch.

Besiktas took the lead in the first half through Jackson Muleka (41st). In the 47th minute, the Istanbul fans then caused the first interruption, after a short break Frenchman Irvin Cardona (58th) scored the Augsburg equalizer. A little later, the Turks ignited again, and the encounter ended early.
