FC Augsburg gets a Frenchman again. According to matching media reports from his home country, Han-Noah Massengo (24) moves to the Fuggerstadt. The FCA is in good way for a transfer from FC Burnley. In Augsburg, the midfielder is expected to expect a five -year contract.
Update 13.07.: The journalist Sacha Tavolieri described the movement to Augsburg as completed on Sunday evening, at least as far as the club’s agreement and mass go. On Monday the player will come to Bavaria for a medical check. With Burnley, the Augsburgers agreed on a transfer of around 3 million euros.

The mass go -trained at AS Monaco moved to England at the age of 18, where he completed 110 games for Bristol City before going to AJ Auxerre for the first time in the second half of 2022/23. There he recommended himself to switch to FC Burnley, for which he did not regularly get on the train in the Premier League or in the Championship. After 13 missions, the lending of Auxerre, where he was set again, went on loan again. Curious: In 162 professional games for four clubs, Massengo has not yet scored.
The Augsburgers have recently increased more players from France. In addition to Chrislain Matsima (23), Steve Mounié (30), Samuel Essendend (27), Alexis Claude-Maurice (27) and newcomer Kyliane Dong (20), mass go would be the sixth professional in France in the squad. Matsima has the same consultant agency with Classico as mass go, both also know each other from the Monaco offspring.
In any case, a transfer in this position makes sense. Onyeka is gone and Maier, Breithaupt and Rex are considered a candidate for departure.
He already has a high number of professional games for his age, but so far he has not been able to score a goal in these games and also made a few assists.
So we can’t expect too much offensive.
It may be a similar development with us as Matsima or ACM, which can be used with a similar situation from France …
