Bundesliga soccer club FC Augsburg has loaned striker Irvin Cardona to French second division club AS St. Etienne for the remainder of the season.
The Augsburgers announced this on Wednesday. The 26-year-old Frenchman moved to FCA in January 2023, but has only played 13 Bundesliga games (one goal) since then.
“In the preliminary round, Irvin had little playing time. The loan to St. Etienne offers a very good opportunity in which Irvin will be able to play regularly in an ambitious club and under his former coach,” said sports director Marinko Jurendic.
