The legendary British comedy series Fawlty Towers (1975-1979) will be continued. Protagonist and writer John Cleese returns according to trade magazine Variety.
The 83-year-old Cleese will once again play the role of bumbling hotel owner Basil Fawlty. Camilla Cleese, the actor’s daughter, plays his daughter in the reboot. Basil Fawlty recently found out about her existence and together they open a new hotel.
It’s not yet known when and where the new series will air, but Cleese is excited about the idea. “Camilla and I are really looking forward to making a series of it.”
