Father (61) and ‘laughing’ mother (59) deny sexual abuse and assault of four daughters: ‘I only hit the buttocks, never to hurt’

“There is no place on my body that he has not touched.” In an extensive sexual offense case, a man and a woman from Apeldoorn were on trial in Arnhem on Monday. The couple – now divorced – is suspected of years of sexual abuse, assault and humiliation of their four daughters. According to the judiciary, the abuse took place from their toddler years, between 1996 and 2017, within a religious family with eight children: four boys and four girls.
