Fashionette has a new managing director.
The online fashion retailer appointed Frederike Knop into the role of CEO, the Fashionette GmbH said on Friday. She will practice her new role together with Dominik Benner, CEO of The Platform Group AG. Benner has headed the company since the takeover by the Platform Group and the subsequent foundation of its own subsidiary for Fashionette together with Laura Vogelsang.
Knop is now succeeding Vogelsang, which will change to the company’s advisory board from May. However, the designated managing director is no stranger for the Platform Group. It changes from Chronext GmbH, an online shop for luxury watches, which is also taken over by the group. At Chronext, she has also worked as a CEO.
“I am looking forward to the new task at fashionette,” said Knop. “I am at home in the luxury industry, so it’s a home game for me. In the future we would like to establish fashionette even more as a luxury platform. This includes expanding the number of partners: massively inside and increasing internationality.”
