Farmers from Rogat on their way to The Hague for a new protest

Farmers Defense Force (FDF), which initiated the demonstration, is still keeping the exact location of the demonstration a secret. Foreman Mark van den Oever said this yesterday in a vlog addressed to his supporters.

According to him, it will be a “dynamic program” today. “Don’t just stand in front of the podium and then chug home,” says Van den Oever. “I can’t say more about that, because otherwise everything will be counteracted again.”

According to the FDF leader, farmers who go to the protest will only receive the location upon arrival in The Hague. The protest will also only be reported to the municipality at the last minute, he says.

FDF has already published a draft programme. It states that the protest will start at 12:00 p.m. Van den Oever will be the first speaker to speak at 13:00. MPs such as Caroline van der Plas from BBB and Wybren van Haga from BVNL are also on the programme.

The House of Representatives will debate this afternoon, while the protest is underway, about the collapsed agricultural agreement. Demonstrators can follow the debate in the House of Representatives live from “the site”, the program says. The demonstration ends at 5 p.m.
