The man who was arrested on Saturday afternoon at Den Bosch station after making a false report about assessment plans was released again. The reporter remains in the picture as a suspect, the police let us know on Sunday morning.

The reporter was on a train that was on its way to Den Bosch. There he would have heard that three fellow travelers would talk about an attack. He then reported to the police.

The police took it certain for the uncertain and scaled up considerably. For example, a police helicopter flew above the station, the station was closed and about twenty police officers were going.

The moment the train arrived at the station, all passengers, including the three suspected men, were checked. After conversations with the men and an investigation into their criminal past, they turned out to be innocent.

Possible persecution
The reporter was arrested, he was interrogated on Saturday evening and was then released immediately. However, a police spokesperson emphasizes that he remains the suspect.

The police cannot yet say whether the false report has been made intentionally. The Public Prosecution Service is now going to look at the case and determines whether the reporter will be prosecuted or not.
