In Formula 3 the Italian teams Prema Racing And Trident were the absolute protagonists in the qualifying of the inaugural round of the championship scheduled on the circuit of Sakhir, in Bahrain. Finally, in a fiery finale, with i rookies in great shape, the Ferrari driver Dino Beganovic he took pole position by setting the best time (1:46.431) ahead of Luke Browning (Hitech Pulse-Eight team) and teammate Gabriele Mini (Prema Racing team).
