The British after the GP was penalized by five seconds, losing the position with the Spaniard. Ferrari also badly with Charles: “I had to manage the brakes for the whole race, we have exaggerated problems”
Duel between veterans. Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton have been the protagonists of a head -to -head in the last bars of the Singapore Grand Prix. The seven times world champion, struggling with a brake problem, finished the race in seventh place, but was penalized by five seconds for Track Limits and lost his position in favor of the Spaniard. Alonso did not like Hamilton’s behavior in the last lap and after the checkered flag he did not hold back: “I can’t believe Ca … or”, he said in a radio team. “Is it sure to drive without brakes? I want to say, I should be in P7 Ca … or (Hamilton had not yet been penalized, editor’s note). You can’t behave as if you are alone on the track. It has had no respect for the red flag yesterday, today they did as if the track was all for them. Maybe it’s too much. For me it cannot be driven when the car is not sure. In the past they even tried to disqualify me. Do you have brakes and everything is fine?
disconsolate Leclerc

He seemed not to see time of returning home Charles Leclerc, forced for the umpteenth time in this 2025 to comment on a negative result. The Monegasque was the author of a beautiful departure, in which he recovered two positions, but the rhythm was not up to the best and in the end only a sixth place arrived. “I had to manage the brakes for the whole race and it was not the best,” said Leclerc. “Everyone must do it, but for us it is a little too exaggerated. It was difficult especially in the final.”
Vasseur’s comment

Frederic Vasseur analyzed the whole weekend, trying to identify what did not work: “We arrived in Singapore with a good step in the FP1, then we lost a lot in the performance. In qualifying we were first in Q1 and we did the same time in the Q3. Today starting in the middle of the group we struggled so much. When we pushed a couple of turns with Hamilton, we had a good step. Able to put everything together at the right time of the weekend.
