The police found explosive materials and fireworks in a house on Antonius van Lieropstraat in Heeze on Saturday evening. The Defense Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (EOD) in Soesterberg was alerted to investigate the unknown homemade explosives.
An X-ray machine was used for the examination. The EOD then took charge of the goods while the remaining fireworks were removed by a recognized company.
Not a single home had to be evacuated.

No arrests have been made. A good conversation will be held with the minor son of the house in the coming days, according to the police.
