Explosive fire in Oostduinkerke lit
Yesterday afternoon the fire brigade was called for a blazing fire in a storage depot at a campsite in Oostduinkerke. The shed also had private rooms.
When emergency services arrived, flames shot out of the warehouse window. Several gas cylinders were also present in the fire. The sprayers got everything under control and the residents were also able to leave the building in time. The property is temporarily uninhabitable.
The public prosecutor appointed a fire expert. He determined that it was arson. Presumably it is part of a marital quarrel. The investigation is still ongoing, but a woman has since been arrested.
