Join us on the first night of citizen patrol ‘The Nightwatch’ in Liedekerke: “If every municipality had this, the world would be a better place”

A group of men who look for burglars in their beloved municipality in the evening and at night: meet The Nightwatch, or Liedekerke’s citizen patrol. Unnecessary and even dangerous, according to the mayor. Much needed, they think. Are they really doing it for the safety of all villagers? Or maybe a little for yourself? We rode along on their first patrol and found that the answer is not so black and white.
