In Assen a car was destroyed around midnight after an explosion. The car was parked on the canal.
The emergency services closed the area with ribbon for research. Why the car had been selected as a target is not clear. The explosion caused most damage to the front of the vehicle.
The explosion woke up several residents of the canal. Nobody was injured.
