Expert warns after Colruyt figures: “A multinational would immediately cut costs and restructure based on these figures”

Colruyt’s figures are redder than expected. Profits plunged by almost 16% due to the price war in supermarkets and high wages. While the supermarket chain itself remains calm and focuses on the long term, retail specialist Pierre-Alexandre Billiet is sounding the alarm. He calls the lack of political support for our country’s largest private employer “insane”.
