The three-time Grand Slam winner Angelique Kerber has become a mother for the second time. “Welcome to our family, Ben,” wrote the 37-year-old on Sunday on Instagram and posted a moving photo of the winding hands of yourself, her partner, the daughter and the newborn born in 2023.
And further: “Our hearts are full of love and gratitude, now that you are finally in our arms. You are already loved so much, and we cannot expect to watch you grow and discover this beautiful world together.”
In February 2023, Kerber had already given birth to her daughter Liana and had returned to the WTA tour after a long break.
After the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, Kerber then finished her successful career, which she crowned her with three Grand Slam titles. She remains loyal to her sport as a consultant of the German Tennis Bund (DTB) and as a co -organizer of the tournament in Bad Homburg.
