Ex-Eintracht Frankfurt: Sam Lammers moves to Glasgow Rangers

Rangers pay a fee

Sam Lammers will appear again for another club next season – his seventh since 2018/19. The Dutchman is moving to Glasgow Rangers in Scotland from the regular club Atalanta Bergamo, which loaned the 26-year-old attacker over the past two years. There he signed a contract until 2027. Loud “Sky Sports” the runners-up will pay a transfer fee of £3m, the equivalent of around €3.5m.

Lammers played for FC Empoli and most recently Sampdoria Genoa last season, scoring just two goals and providing two assists in 34 games. His quota at Eintracht Frankfurt 2021/22 was similarly expandable, when the 1.91 meter tall striker scored two goals in 22 appearances. Atalanta paid €8m to PSV Eindhoven for Lammers in the summer of 2020.
