Adi Hütter is apparently about to return to Eintracht Frankfurt. According to information from “Kicker”, the 56-year-old Austrian is the top candidate for the vacant coaching position at the Bundesliga club. However, there is no agreement yet.

Hütter had already coached the Hessians from 2018 to 2021 and scored an average of 1.65 points in 141. The greatest success of his term in office was reaching the Europa League semi-finals in 2019. He most recently worked in France at AS Monaco, where he was fired last October. Olympique Marseille is also said to be interested in signing Hütter.

After the separation from Albert Riera, Frankfurt’s sports director Markus Krösche announced last week that he wanted to sort out the Spaniard’s successor as soon as possible. According to reports, the 45-year-old recently had a conversation with Hütter in Mallorca. However, when asked, Krösche did not want to comment on the matter, the magazine continued.

In addition to Hütter, Matthias Jaissle is also considered a candidate for Eintracht. The 38-year-old is currently under contract with Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia and recently won the AFC Champions League for the second time in a row.

Report: Hellmann will remain on the board of Eintracht Frankfurt until 2031

According to information from the “Bild” newspaper, Axel Hellmann will remain the SGE’s board spokesman for the next five years. Accordingly, the 54-year-old and President Matthias Beck have agreed to continue their collaboration until June 30, 2031.

The new working paper for Hellmann still has to be approved by the supervisory board on June 3rd. But this is considered a formality. In addition to Hellmann, Krösche (sport), Julien Zamberk (finance) and Philipp Reschke (fans, security, legal) also belong to the four-person management committee of Hesse. Hellmann has been working for Eintracht since 2001. First in the executive committee, since 2012 as a board member of Fußball AG. In recent years, the marketing expert has played a major role in the economic boom of Frankfurt, which now generates annual sales of almost 400 million euros.
