After leaving the insolvent FC Honka, Berlin-born Florian Krebs remains in the Finnish Veikkausliiga. The 24-year-old midfielder follows coach Vesa Vasara to FC Inter Turku, where Krebs signed a two-year contract. In two seasons he was directly involved in twelve goals in 68 games for FC Honka and tripled his market value to 300,000 euros.

“We have known Finland for the last two years and the quality of life is very high, especially for a young family. Then there was the fact that my old coaches and my good colleague Kevin Jansen are there,” Krebs explains his decision to Transfermarkt. Together with the Dutchman, he is now the most valuable player in the squad. “I don’t know Turku personally, I still have to see it all. But the training facility and the stadium are great, and the people at the club are also super professional.”
