Ex-Bundesliga professional Alfredo Morales (34) found a new club in the Major League Soccer after leaving the San Jose Earthquakes. The Berlin -born joins the St. Louis City SC, in which he signed a contract by the end of 2025 including an option for another year.

Morales, who played 28 games for the Quakes in the past season, had presented itself as a test player in the preparation for the season in St. Louis – with success. The midfielder, who came in the Bundesliga on 109 missions (four goals) for Hertha, Ingolstadt and Düsseldorf, impressed the coaching staff with his achievements, it was said of his new club.

“We are pleased to welcome Alfredo at the St. Louis City SC,” said German sports director Lutz Pfannenstiel. “He brings a wealth of experience from home and abroad because he played in the top league in Europe and in the US national team. His technical qualities, his leadership qualities and its ability to control the midfield will be a great asset to our team. ”
